Upton Park was opened in 1907 and was the largest garage in the LT fleet for some time. Until recently the garage hosted Route 15 which went as far west as East Acton on a Sunday and also had part responsibility for Route 175 which went up into the Essex countryside but mostly the routes have concentrated in the Dockland area and indeed one of the most frequent routes (101) operated from U.
