(P) Old Kent Road was tucked away in a little side street but nevertheless was host to many trunk routes in South East London. (P) had the distinction of operating the last petrol engined buses which were allocated to the Leyland Cubs operated on the Inter Station night route. After the 1958 bus strike the garage closed and most services were transferred to the nearby (NX) New Cross garage.
