| Muswell Hill garage in the early fifties was predominantly single deck operating the TD, Q and RF types. The garage had always been associated with Route 43 and indeed had an allocation right up to the time of closure when the buses and routes were transferred between Finchlley and Holloway. An unusual allocation in the late eighties was for Route 73 and this was for crew rostering purposes, the 171 was relegated to OPO therefore not enough crews were available at Tottenham to provide a full service. |
