| Clay Hall situated off Fairfield Road was always disadvantaged because of the low bridge in Fairfield Road and therefore access could only be reached by double deckers from the Old Ford direction and not from Bow Road. The garage was closed in November 1959 when there was enough available space at Bow (BW) after stage 4 of the trolleybus conversion program. The site has since become part of motorway approach to Blackwall Tunnel |
