| Abbey Wood started life as a tram depot in 1910 and in fact was operated trams until the last day on July 5th 1952. AW has always been associated with the 177 but has flirted with many trunk routes ie 182 and 186. With the opening of the new Plumstead Garage (PD) in October 1981 the garage was closed and operations transferred to the new site. |
