HEATHROW AIRPORT CENTRALTerminal 3, Tunnel, Bath Road, Harlington Corner, Hatton Cross, Feltham, Hanworth, Hampton Hill, Teddington, Hampton Wick, KINGSTON
Contract reassigned to London United, and routeing via Compass Centre withdrawn
At Hampton Sainsbury's buses stayed outside until remedial works were made by Sainsbury's, allegedly the longer buses couldn't turn there. Buses re-entered Sainsbury's by September. More importantly, in Hampton Hill buses were rerouted away from Windmill Road, because of problems with parked cars, especially in the narrow section at the High Street end - the installation of chicanes along the road hadn't helped either. Nothing was ever done about this, and in the end the temporary rerouteing became permanent. New stops were then added in the previously unserved section of Uxbridge Road south of Windmill Road - the 726 used to traverse this section nonstop, but now calls at the new stop at Ormond Drive! (also used by the R70, but there was no stop there before). This broke up a long nonstop section on the 726 between Park Road and Hampton Church.
New Night route added (N285) making this a 24 hour service.

HEATHROW Terminal 3 - KINGSTON
Route T123, from Feltham Station to Heathrow Terminals 1, 2 & 3, was merged with the 285. Buses were diverted via a double run on New Road, off Feltham Station roadbridge, to the north side of Feltham Station (though southbound buses can use the Bedfont Lane level crossing if the gates are open, they don't miss any stops doing this), and at Heathrow was extended to Terminal 3 (the T123 had served all three terminals). There was also a pvr increase and even newer route branded DPSs with luggage space were provided (the DPs off the T123 were employed elsewhere at AV and HH, and the nearly new DPSs off the 285 went to TV for Routes K2/K3). However, there was stand problems at Terminal 3, and the route was soon cut back to the Central Bus Station. The date was never recorded officially, but was sometime between 5 January 2002 and April 2002.
